京都の街並や自然の一コマをテキスタイルデザインに落とし込んだKYOTOSCAPEコレクションの一つです。KYOTOSCAPEでは伝統的な製法を活かしながら、様々な素材や今までにない模様を掛け合わせ、新しい感覚の金襴織物を探求します。

KYOTO IN HAZE

While we were trying out different yarns and foils for KYOTO GRAND and KYOTO PETITE, an unforeseen movement of the foil created a beautiful haze-like pattern. The craftsmen succeeded in reproducing the same effect with weaving structure and this became KYOTO IN HAZE.

KYOTOSCAPE is a collection of textile designs inspired by the beautiful scenery in Kyoto, the hometown of KAJI KINRAN. In the collection, while preserving the traditional technique, we explore new forms of expression through a variety of materials and unconventional patterns.
